PRODUCT UPDATE
📌 Platform Update: New Claim Status — “Returned”
We’ve added a new status to the Claims page: Returned. These are claims that have been denied by the payer, reviewed by our Workflow Services billing team, and returned to the pharmacy for correction, as we didn’t have information on file to make the correction on your behalf.
You’ll find notes on each returned claim to help guide your correction—most often it’s a quick fix to insurance information.
👉 To view these claims:
Go to the Claims tab > Filter by Status: Returned > Click Search.

CARE GAP PROGRAM UPDATE
Colorectal Cancer (CRC) Screening Programs
Together, Workflow Services, Exact Sciences (the makers of Cologuard®) and participating pharmacies are helping more eligible patients complete at-home colon cancer screening—with no extra effort for pharmacy staff.
Patients can access the screening tool through:
- Vaccine or other clinical services self-registration links
- Website links
- Bag stuffers
- Automatic text outreach tied to prescription activities
If you use either Pioneer or Liberty, you're eligible to activate this automated outreach feature—reach out to our team to get started!
đź’ˇ Already participating?
You’ll soon receive weekly emails reminding you to log into the Workflow Services CRC Project Dashboard and check the following patient lists:
- Screened and Eligible
- Ordered but Not Resulted
These are lists of patients who are either screened and eligible to order an at-home test OR patients that did order a test kit but didn’t return it yet. Supporting these patients in the next step of the CRC screening process is a revenue opportunity for participating pharmacies and a way to support your patients in the screening process. A quick outreach from a trusted pharmacist could be all it takes to get them across the finish line.

đź’‰ Heads-Up: Vaccine Season Is Almost Here
It’s time to start preparing for fall immunizations! Here's how to get ahead:
📆 Now is the time to:
Reach out to local businesses or community groups to plan on-site clinic
Promote your vaccination services with signage, bag stuffers, and social media
Review and confirm payer coverage for flu, COVID, RSV, and other common vaccines
- Research medical billing opportunities related to vaccines. I.e. Vaccine hesitancy counseling, minimum time requirements, etc.
- Review the Vaccine Administration workflow. Use a patient with the last name “zztest” to re-familiarize yourself with the platform.
