💡 Expand Your Services with the Clinical Visit Template (CVT)
The Clinical Visit Template (CVT) is a flexible, customizable tool that empowers pharmacists to document clinical encounters and submit medical claims when appropriate. It’s ideal for capturing services that don’t currently have built-in workflows—and turning everyday interactions into billable opportunities.
Use Cases for the CVT Include:
- Minor Ailments: Easily document and bill for common conditions like cold sores, allergic reactions, or insect bites—things your patients regularly ask about but may not fit into a traditional workflow.
- State Protocol or CPA Services: Use the CVT to support services allowed under your state’s protocols or collaborative practice agreements such as travel health.
- Chronic Disease Management: Track patient care services like medication management, follow-ups, and lifestyle counseling for chronic conditions such as diabetes, asthma, or hypertension.
- Anything Else That Makes Sense: The CVT is designed to fit your pharmacy’s unique offerings. Whether it's wellness consultations, OTC recommendations, or health coaching, if you’re providing value to patients, the CVT can help you capture and bill for it.

SYSTEM UPDATES
🛠Upcoming Changes to the Billing Summary Page
To support more accurate and up-to-date claim statuses, we’re rolling out an important update to the Billing Summary page in Workflow Services Workflows.
What’s New:
Pharmacists will now be required to select a method of payment before proceeding to the next screen in the workflow. This update is designed to help ensure billing details are captured clearly and consistently.
- For Cash Services, the options will be:
- Bill patient’s credit card
- Mark as paid
- For Insurance Billing, the options will include:
- Charge credit card
- Mark as paid
- Defer payment
To support these changes, we’ve also added clearer pop-ups and reminder messages about collecting credit card information and choosing a payment method.
Why This Matters:
Keeping a credit card on file is strongly encouraged for all patients. Workflow Services is not able to assist in recovering payment for services that include patient responsibility if no credit card is on file.
These changes aim to reduce payment issues, improve workflow accuracy, and ensure smoother claim processing for your team.
