We use Box (a service from Salesforce) to share files with our customers. It is more secure than sending email attachements and more centralized/organized. To access the folder we've shared with you, where you can send and receive files, you'll need to make a free account on Box - this is a one-time step, in the future you'll just log in. To access your shared folder, follow these steps:
1. Check your Email
You will receive an invitation to a shared folder from your customer success manager here at Workflow Services (this email will come from noreply@box.com). The subject line will be "Manager's Name has invited you to collaborate on Box." Click Accept Invite.
2. Create an account on Box
This is a free account, you will never have to upgrade or pay to share files with us.
3. Confirm Your Account
You will see a screen asking you to check your email to confirm your new account. Head to your email and look for another email from noreply@box.com with the subject line, "Please complete your Box signup." Click Verify Email.
4. Upload or Download Files Securely
If we are sharing files with you, you will see them listed in the shared folder with the options to view them or download them. If you have a file to share with us, you can drag it from your computer into the browser window where you are viewing the shared folder. Or, you can click New > File Upload.
Simply return to Box.com and log in to view the folder in the future, or to share more files with our team.
Troubleshooting Tips
Missing Invite Email
If you don't receive the invitation email from Box, please check your spam folder. If it is nowhere to be found, just let your contact at Workflow Services know so they can share a direct link to your shared folder with you.
The Sign Up process is a little different with a link shared outside of that invitation email, so follow these steps:
1. Click the link you received to access the shared folder.
2. To be able to upload or download form the folder you will need to Sign up. You will see both option to Log in or Sign up - unless you are already a Box user, click Sign up.
3. On the next screen you will see a lot of paid options to sign up for accounts, you need to click Individuals and Teams to find the option of a free account. We already have a paid business account, so you only need the free account to access the files that we host. Click to Sign Up for the free plan.
4. Click Sign Up and you will be taken to a Sign Up screen for your free account.
5. When you complete this page you will be prompted to confirm your email. Head to your email and look for an email from noreply@box.com with the subject line, "Please complete your Box signup." Click Verify Email.
6. You're in! Clicking the link the email should take you to your new Box account where you will see your shared folder.
Logging in Again Later
If you have already made a Box account and accessed your shared folder in the past, you'll simply need to login using the Username and Password that you created. When you follow the link to your shared folder, you may see the following screen prompting you to log in. Be sure to choose, "Not a part of ImageMover." While the folder is shared with you from our account, your account is independent of our organization's license with Box.
