When to Use This
Use this process when a patient’s insurance plan changes, or if insurance information was missed during initial registration.
Steps
Log in to the Web Portal
Navigate to pharmacy.imagemovermd.com (this is the standard URL for most pharmacies).
Sign in using your pharmacy credentials.
Access the Patient’s Profile
Click the Patient tab from the top menu.
Hover over the patient’s name.
Click the pencil icon to open and edit the patient’s profile.
Locate Insurance Information
Scroll down to the Insurance Information section.
To replace an existing plan, hover over the payer line you wish to update and enter the new details.
To add a new payer, click the ➕ button located above the payer list.
Enter Insurance Details
Complete all required fields.
Important:
You must select a payer from the provided list — free-text entries will not save.
You must attach an image of the insurance card or documentation.
Attach an Insurance Image
Capture or upload an image of the insurance card.
If a physical card is not available:
Use a sample card from the payer’s website, or
Take a screenshot of enrollment or coverage confirmation details, or
Provide any useful image that helps identify the payer and plan.
Save Your Changes
Review the information for accuracy.
Click Save to update the patient’s profile.
Best Practices
Always double-check that the payer name and ID match the insurance documentation.
Use clear, legible images to help avoid claim rejections.
If unsure about the correct payer selection, contact your team lead before saving.
