Nearly all workflows will begin with the patient registering themselves for services. The web-based Self Registration workflow provided by Workflow Services will guide the patient through all of the required questions needed to register for services and perform the clinical assessment.
For patients who are uncomfortable using the website or would prefer guidance to register, you can register them, via our app, as a new patient when they arrive for services.
Accessing the Self-Registration Website
You will want to share self-registration information with your patients. The self-registration website is accessible and optimized for computers, tablets, and smartphones. It's typically accessed by scanning a QR Code specific to your organization or through a URL link from your website.
To find your pharmacy's QR Code and URL follow the steps below:
- Log into your Web Portal and select Links from the left menu bar
- The QR Code can be found in two separate places:
- Choose Patient Self-Registration Code to display your code on the screen of the device you are using. This is helpful if your patient has their phone or tablet with them and your screen is visible to the patient. You can also right-click and save this image to use anywhere - like your website or social media.
- Choose Download "Sign-up" poster to download a poster with the QR code that can be displayed in your pharmacy or other areas visible to patients.
- To find your pharmacy's self-registration URL copy and paste from the Patient Self-Registration URL section. Choose this option when including self-registration information in emails or linking to self-registration on your website.
-
Completing the Self Registration
- When patients scan the QR code or visit the URL for your pharmacy's self-registration page they will be asked to select from a list of services offered at your pharmacy.
- Once the desired service is selected, the patient will be guided through the registration process.

- If PMS integration is turned on for your pharmacy, a report will be faxed to your PMS once registration is complete. The report can be found in your fax queue. Many pharmacies use this as their hard-copy for the prescription.
- When the patient arrives the pharmacy staff scans this QR code to being the workflow. If the patient loses their QR Code, you can simply look them up using their last name and refine your search using their date of birth or first name.
Appointment Scheduling
If your pharmacy delivers services using appoints refer to Add a Scheduling Link to Self Registration for instructions.
